Our Family
I started to draw about the age of 5, it was my maternal grandfather who got me started when he taught me how to draw horses. Horses were my passion, and I continued to draw them through childhood until my teens. I usually chose to draw with pencil, then I turned to charcoal which was my preference for many years.
I have also worked in oil painting, water colors and pastel, but find I prefer scratch art to any other medium I have used.
I sort of put my art aside for a few years and It hasn't been until recently that I started to get back into the swing of things again. I have even taken the plunge at entering art shows. I have had work displayed at a Scratch Art Show in Alamosa, Colorado in early 2010 along with other very talented scratch artists from around the world.
When not working full time in my own Dog Grooming Salon, I also enjoy showing my dogs , and going to Vintage car shows with my husband Peter. I thank you for taking the time to have a look at my work.
